🌟 Reflecting Cumbria's Vision for Net Zero: My Experience at the Conference.
Monday 11 September 2023, I had the privilege of representing Morgan Consult & Advisory Ltd at a thought-provoking conference in Cumbria. It was a gathering of business leaders, public figures, and community champions, all united by a common purpose - to shape the future of our beloved region.
The discussions were nothing short of enlightening. We delved deep into what truly matters to us in Cumbria: our environment, our communities, and our shared commitment to sustainability. One of the most remarkable aspects of the day was the emphasis on collaboration. It was an inspiring day filled with insights, knowledge-sharing, and a collective commitment to shaping a sustainable future for our region.
Representing Morgan Consult & Advisory Ltd, I was reminded of our mission: empowering businesses for positive global impact. Our unwavering sustainability commitment excites me as we collaborate with remarkable individuals and organisations. From clean energy discussions to community-driven initiatives, every moment testified to our shared goal of a brighter, sustainable Cumbria.
💡 The event was highlighted by exceptional presentations from technology innovators, who discussed topics like hydrogen use, hydrogen transport, Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), all contributing to a more sustainable future. Additionally, we heard from Spirit Energy, Solway Community Power Company, Carlton Power Limited, and Element 2, who shared their energy sector initiatives and commitment to decarbonisation.
